The hostel was clean and had all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. Fresh linen and towels were included in the price and the bathroom was kept clean. There was a good variety of breakfast options, including bread, porridge, ham, cheese. The location was perfect for those wanting to explore the area near the Latvian border.
The lack of individual atmosphere could be a turn-off for some guests, and the payment in cash only may be inconvenient. some staff members struggled to communicate in English, which could lead to miscommunications.

Located conveniently near the town center, this accommodation is a good base to explore the city. the bus station is easily reachable from here, and the river nearby adds some charm to the surroundings. the rooms are clean and the bathroom is well-maintained. Breakfast options are varied and satisfying. the staff is friendly, even though they may not speak perfect English, and payment in cash is accepted.
The lack of character and individuality in the building and ambiance may be off-putting to some guests.

Spent my New Year's Eve in a hostel in a small town near the Latvian border. the hostel provided towels and had a well, equipped kitchen with everything you might need for cooking, which was great. the big TV screen in the common area made it possible to watch the countdown at midnight with other travelers. the location was perfect, only a couple of minutes' walk from the main square and the fireworks display.
The hostel had poor internet reception, and the walls were quite thin, which made it difficult to get a good night's sleep due to the noise of other guests. the check, in and check, out processes were a little confusing and disorganized, causing a slight delay in our departure.
